10 Top Tech Podcasts

Podcasts are an easy way to stay up to date in today’s busy world as they allow listeners to multi task, engage from any device, and digest information in bite sized chunks.  But with so many available it’s hard to know where to start. To to help you get started, we’ve compiled a list of go-to technology podcasts detailing a broad range of subjects.

  1. TEDtalks Technology – 15 minute, bite sized episodes featuring some of the world’s leading inventors and researchers. Listen (or watch) as they share demos, breakthroughs and visions onstage at the TED conference, TEDx events and partner events around the world.
  2. This Developer’s Life – A podcast about developer’s and their lives with general software engineering and productivity content included.
  3. Herding Code – Running since 2008 this podcast makes good listening for stack overflow engineering, .Net, Visual Studio, Microsoft and more.
  4. This week in computer hardware – Information about the latest motherboards, CPUs, GPUs, and RAM and which to use when designing your machine.
  5. PC Perspectives – Listen for reviews and tech chatter, this is a one stop shop for anything hardware related. The delivery is accessible, easily digestible and humorous.
  6. YayQuery – Each podcast includes news from the front-end development community, jQuery patterns, anti-patterns, and more.
  7. Web Dev Radio – Tune in for information about tools, trends and technologies for web developers, including content about web design, Javascript and Ajax.
  8. Run As Radio – A weekly 30 minute podcast for IT Professionals working with Microsoft products. Each episode covers a specific topic in the field of IT from a Microsoft-centric viewpoint including information about system administration, security and infrastructure.
  9. This week in Tech – A roundtable discussion between top tech experts talking about the latest trends in high tech.
  10. Future Thinkers – A podcast about evolving technology, society and consciousness.
